Chickens

Buddy picked up five baby chicks Thursday afternoon. We had planned to have chickens but had no concrete plans of when until Buddy called on Tuesday and told me about an ad on Craigslist. We don't have an outdoor home for them yet and they may not for several weeks since Buddy already has a lot to accomplish before leaving on Monday for three weeks. Nyla is scared to hold the chicks but has spent quite a bit of time outside today watching them. Bohdin will hold them and also enjoys caring for them at least for now.
