The experiment

We took Nana back to the airport Tuesday morning. Nyla listened to one last story before we left. Both of the kids were sad to see her go.

Bohdin started his handwriting workbook this morning and it went well. It's a very gradual book so really most of what he did today was scribble. No writing yet. I think that prompted him to do more drawing though. After watering the plants Bohdin noticed a container of black water on the balcony. He had been doing chalk drawings outside last week and was using that water for painting. It was still there and he thought it was great. He was excited that he did a science project without using a book. I told him he should make his own book of experiments so we did. He also drew several pictures.

Mommy picking tomoatoes. He said he ran out of room for my body so I'm just a head.

Fill container with water. Make the water dirty like by putting dirt in it. Leave it day and night. Go on the balcony and check your water and then it's black water.

Playmobil goldmine. There are train tracks and the purple blob on the left is the center of the rail car.

Great drawings! Sofia draws a head with arms and legs sticking out of it. It's so fun to watch their artistic ability develop.
