Epcot

On the way to Animal Kingdom Friday morning Buddy decided it made more sense to do Epcot first so we could make an earlier start driving home the next day. I hadn't finished preparing for Epcot and there was a noticeable difference. We did more wandering around trying to figure out what to do next and trying to find things. At the none of the other three parks did we follow the plan exactly but I had studied the map and attraction list enough to improvise. As a result Buddy missed out on the most. We were able to do some interesting things. Bohdin liked the boat ride through the Disney greenhouses a lot. He wanted to do it again as soon as we got off. Nyla on the other hand thanked the boat for finally getting to the exit. She didn't care for it. Bohdin tried one of the three bigger rides he had previously agreed to try. He changed his mind after the safety briefing of test track. He next tried Mission Space which he didn't like but he seemed proud of himself for trying. His other favorite was Turtle Talk, an interactive cartoon experience. We ended up doing it twice and almost three times because Bohdin was sad he wasn't picked to answer a question.

Nyla had a short nap during our afternoon break. That meant we were able to squeeze in some pool time. The pool wasn't heated as much as our previous one so I hung out in the hot tub which was barely bathtub temp. Buddy and the kids went in the bigger pool a few times but always had to come back to get warm. After the short swim we haded to the African buffet at the Animal Kingdom resort. It was a very interesting buffet. My favorite non dessert was the corn and spinach pudding. The stars of the buffet though were the desserts which were incredible. I think our favorite was the Zebra Domes which is a chocolate mousse concoction. Bohdin liked the black and white chocolate garnish on one of the other desserts. He called them chocolate straws. Nyla didn't eat very much so it was lucky she was free. After dinner we checked out the animal overlook where we saw zebras and a few other animals.

We headed back to Epcot to look around the world showcase area and catch the fireworks display. Nyla was extremely grumpy and by the end of the evening it had spread to all of us. Nyla fell asleep on Buddy's back but woke up during the fireworks. When we arrived back at the hotel Nyla threw up in the toilet. She seemed find though and we all just went to sleep.
