Waiting

I had my ultrasound this morning. I don't know the exact details because the radiologist refused to say anything. They called the midwife and handed me the phone. They saw a gestational sac but no embryo. Actually they said fetal pole but that term isn't usually used at this point in the pregnancy. The midwife told me to expect a miscarriage in the next two weeks. My body thought it was pregnant but there is no baby. I feel fine physically. Just like I did yesterday and all of the other days. It's just time to wait patiently.
